Details: To make up for the disappointment of supporting a losing side in his first year of following the GAA, the wonderful people of Offaly decided to name a pub for him. He was very happy. Offaly very nearly didn't happen - the place where we were supposed to stop was deserted, so we had to race on to the next town and even then, Richie's didn't look like it was open, but after tapping on the window we were beckoned in for a quick pint. It was a very quiet day in Offaly, so we decided not to disturb the peace with any pirate antics and headed off quietly.

We were told by the camerawoman that we needed to lean in so she could get us all in the shot. Hmmm.
